Founded in Venice Beach, California 2020 Loon Skate Cult is an organization that worships Skateboarding.
Our mission is to Leverage skateboarding as a vehicle for fostering community development and
injecting resources to Indigenous tribes – and give brands the opportunity to invest in
what they believe in.Loon sources and sells native wood from Indigenous land to brands that produce
skateboards and profits are recirculated back to
the community. Loon is short for lunheˀu·wé (loon-hey-o-ey) meaning immortal by the Oneida Tribe that our founder Skyler aka coldhands belongs to.
